Nitro Owners members have been great supporters of this event in the past and NOVA Bass is looking for your help again this year. This is a great event, but we need volunteer boat captains to make it happen. If you live reasonibly close to Washington, DC and would like to volunteer your time and boat for the day we would appreciate your help. We have a great title sponsor in the CTSI Corporation, there support allows for outstandings prizes for all the soldiers.

NOVA Bass Anglers are proud sponsors of the Annual Wounded Soldiers Tournament. This event was started to show our appreciation for those men and women wounded fighting our Nations battles. Most of these military personnel are recovering from their wounds at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. This is a way for us to give them a day of fishing and camaraderie on the Potomac River in Washington DC. We truly believe this is just one small way to say "THANK YOU" to our wounded service men and women.

This year's tournament will be held at 8:00am, June 7, 2008, at Columbia Island Marina, adjacent to the Pentagon, in Arlington, Virginia.

We invite you to come out and join us this year. If you have the time to volunteer, please contact Lee Branham, President, NOVA Bass Anglers at 703-236-3483 or email [email protected].

Thanks, Steve

CIII and I are already signed up as boaters!! See You there!! This is a great event and I get as much out of it as the soldiers. For those that can participate, please do. These hero's can benefit from us. It's our chance to give a little back to those that have given so much for us.

I'm too far away fellas (Korea), but my Dad is making a custom spinning rod and donating it to be given away to one of the soldiers. I think the tournament is a great deal run by some fine Americans:cool: God Bless
