After waiting all this time for the water to warm up here in southern Maine, it came together today. Water is high 50's finally. Caught 25 smallies and 11 bucketmouths. Overall...the best average weight I have ever had. Smallies were consistantly 2-2 1/2 lbs......LMBs were 2-3 lbs with the biggest LMB 4-0 on the scales. Don't remember that there were more than 6 or 7 that were under 2 lbs.
Bet my wife will be up before I am in the morning wondering why I am so slow. She is still in the working force and I get to fish every day.
