Wookiee is finally buying a boat!!!

Ok, the Wookiee, is finally going to buy a boat. It's not a nice Nitro or anything, but as a broke travel agent, this little 16' glass jon boat for $1000 will be great. Anything specific that I need to look for when I check it out. Here is what I know...



15-16' glass tri hull

Painted trailer

25hp Evinrude tiller (pull start)

fresh (home done) carpet.



Any buying advice would be helpful.....

Also, what is the best method to get the plates worked out so I can tow it home. It's at Lake Anna and I am in DC. So I will some sort of temp plate for the trailer I guess/??

Wookie my only advice is to watch the weather and enjoy the living #ell out of it as often as you can.

Make sure it has a drain plug.

Contact the DC DMV since it is out or area you may be able to get a regular tag to tow it home with that will void in 90 days if you don't get it inspected. You will need all the information off of the current title. Make,Model,year and serial number.
