I LUV my wife!

Got a great price on a 2001 700LX SC w/a 75hp 2 stroke Merc and momma said OK! I trade in my PAV16 and pickup her up next Wednesday. I'll post some picks.

I need some help prop'n it. Can I have some recommendations, pleaZe!!

Best regards

I have a 640LX with a 90HP and started running a

22P Laser II. This gives a good hole shot with a

max GPS speed of around 48-49 MPH with RPM's at

5500. I ran a 23P stiletto and it was a bit too

much prop. With the 75HP your RPM max is 5250.

I would think that at most you would run a 22P SS

prop.

OK maybe I won't be picking it up on Wednesday. We've got something like 15" of snow since Friday night. I'm gonna have to use the Jeep just to get the PAV16 outta the snow drift out back of the house. I love winter but this is getting a little nuts.

Still looking for prop recommendations.

WW,

i have the lx700 w/115hp. i run a 21 pitch prop (power tech brand?) and like it alot. it does allow me to rev too high and i can't go full throttle so i could probably move up one or two sizes. my boat originally came with a 19 pitch prop. I'm no expert but by guessing from the 2 props i've had experience with on my boat, i would think maybe a 19 pitch prop would work well with the 75 hp. i'm sure there are others with more experience which would offer a better solution. might look for a prop shop that will allow you to try different ones to see what works best.
