With my boat "out of sight, out of mind" for just about a month now, I'm already itching to start my next project or two for next years season.

Here's a list of anticipated upgrades / changes so far:

1. Add jack plate / Opti 115!!!

2. Make deck extention out of aluminum to shed some weight

3. Add Garmin to bow / trolling motor

4. Move trolling battery back to stock location

5. build rod organizer in one of the rod lockers

6. build tackle oraganizer for front compartment

What are you guys doing for next years season?

Bruce,

Curtis bought a bunch of rod holder tubes from T.H. Marine and is going to build rod holders for my TV-18. Since he will already have his tools and patterns set up for my boat, he may only charge you for materials. Then you can simply install it.

How many rods are you looking to stuff in you locker? I was thinking I could get 8 rods comfortably. I'm getting one for each locker.

Marke, I'm figuring 7 rods... 3 on ea. side of the locker, with one laying on the bottom.

Let me know how yours comes out, I may re-think things.

I am not sure yet, I may sell mine to upgrade, may convert to electric only, may run it till it breaks in half?

Ok, stop all this darn winter talk right NOW!!!!

and if it should be that winter comes my way...

1. Rod Organizer for the right hand side

2. learn/practice to tie streamers and hairjigs

and when winter is over (2 months later) GO FISHING!

My only boating/fishing project for next season is to purchase enough Senkos and grubs prior to the season to last all year. I only have 5 months to get ready!!

Bob,

talk about trying to take on the impossible task!

Set some realistic goals, why don't ya!

simnitro,

Why? Motor is already maxxed out, already made some rod holders, added a Lowrance x71 at the console to compliment the x75 at the bow, added extra fishing seats on Power Poles and already have Boat Buckles. The only thing I really need is a real bass boat and the current economy and stock market says "NO", so I'll make do with what I have and wait. Besides, all those Champlain smallies care about in May is that I have enough Zoom grubs in green pumpkin!!

FISH-FISH-FISH My boat has everything, all I need is to put it in the water and fish! Later<>< <>< <>< Jack

Geez, maybe I should move south where you fortunate souls DON'T have winter and can fish all year :)

My plans are

1) shovel snow

2) complain about it

3) complain about it some more

Seriously the only thing i need to do to my boat for next year is change out the front transducer because i shredded the wire right at the puck hitting a rocks over and over again. other then that a couple of new curado sf reels to replace my failed xps reels and im ready to go.

power pedistol for the front.

new finder for the bow, lake winni killed my 1st one.

hand held GPS for console.

retractable tie downs for the trailer.

spaire tire and bracket for trailer.

send prop out to be ballanced.

hunt ducks untill all open water is frozen over.

go outside and stare at my boat under the snow pile.

My Plans - get my new job in order, get my new team cranking and go FISHING!!!! I have not been in the Tracker with out the kids since my birthday Sept 7th!!! I plan to hunt the Stripers all winter! May have to get out the long underware for those afternoons when the temps dip below 60!!! LOL
