Winterizing a new motor

I just upgraded my motor to a 60hp Mercury 4-stroke in September. I was only able to put 8-10 hours on it. Should I still do the entire winterizing process? The boat is stored in my garage in Northern MN, so it gets below freezing. Thanks for any advice!!
 
Yes you should winterize it for sure any time you do a long term storage, freezing or not.
 
I agree with Jim B...it's always best to ensure it is properly winterized when sitting. I'll be waiting the long winter as well until I pull mine out of storage Paul.
