What Nitro would this be?

My son is telling me about a 1997 Nitro a friend of his is selling for $2,000. The only things he knows about it right now is that it's a 1997 Nitro with a 60 horse motor. What numbers would the small 16 and 17 footers have been then? Thanks, Hutch

I've got a 1995 170TF Rick Clunn edition, it's 17' with a 75 Merc.

I had a '97 700LX with a 90 HP, but they came std with a 75. It was 17' long.

Maybe a Clunn 160 or a 640.

Mine is a 96 170TF Rick Clunn Edition.



In 97, the lineup consisted of a 640LX, 160TF, 170TF, and a 170DC.



If it's got a 60 on it, it is more than likely a 160TF or the 640, as they were both rated for 90hp max.

Thanks all! I'm still trying to get my son to find out where the boat is exactly. It was at a car dealership here, but the owner took it home. Supposedly, he was asking $4500 but dropped it to @2000. Of course, it could be junk for that price, but it's supposed to be in real good shape. I've learned over the years that one man's babied boat is sometimes another man's garbage. Hutch

I bought a 1996 Nitro 170DC Rick Clunn Special Edition with 90 HP Tracker Mercury marine this spring. The boat is in perfect condition,with new seats and a certified tune-up.They were asking $5500, I paid 4800.00 and put new tires only. Love It.. hope this helps.
