OK I can't grieve forever.

Ineed a vehicle I can tow my trailer for work with, about 2500 lb.max.I still get to use the suburban to tow the boat.

So it also has to be able to carry one adult and four children. So the wife has something to drive while I do have the suburban on those rare occasions .But smaller than the suburban and has to be a 4x4.

What would be good ???????

Your imput is appreciated.

I really like my Dodge Dakota Quad cab. I have the 4.7 v8 and it tows my boat with ease. i have also had 5 adults in there many times and nobody really hads complaind so it has plenty of room.

Yep.....my TB pulls my boat like a dream and it's heavier than the 901.....BASS and FLW both use the TB's for their official tow vehicles at all the tournaments.....it's got plenty of power...love it!!

I have a 1995 Dakota that has 176,000 miles! A new alternator and new starter, tires, brakes, batteries, routine maintenance is all it has ever needed. Can't get a better reccommendation than that. A used Dakota with the 318 V8 and 4X4 will do anything you ask. ANd if you get a Quad cab 4 adults ride fine.

P.S. Any word from Sheephead a/k/a Mike LOL

Mac do you have the V8 or straight 6?? I may be getting a new rig next year and was wandering.

I have the 6.......the sucker turns out 295HP!!! LOL

That's plenty for towing!!

TrailBlazer does tow nicely. Just don't get a lemon!

Didn't we just go through this discussion last week when Teri was SUV shopping? LOL

Dodge Ram! I love it, kids love it, and the wife is always asking "can I take your truck?".
