My hubby is such a great guy! He knows I don't care for roses sooo he bought me a dozen packages of Kinami Baits version of the Senko lures in assorted colors! And a big bag of Hershey Hugs (the next best thing to white chocolate dipped strawberries)!

I just look out in the garage to see what my Valentine bought. And then I look at the motor hanging on its stern. It was given to me in November, so it's my

"Thanksgivingbirthdaychristmasnewyearsvalentinesdayandanniversary gift"

Oh, and she's taking me to dinner at my favorite international pub tonight.

In exchange, I hand-delivered a basket of flowers to her classroom this morning, and she's getting Precious Moments figurines signed by Sam Butcher for her collection. Still not quite an even trade for the boat, but at least this year I remembered!

Where is your "favorite international pub"?

If we can get in - I may be down a Pho Grand or some such spot in that area this evening!

me!

My favorite pub is the Growler's on Lindbergh south of Watson Road. 130+ kinds of foreign and domestic beer and a fantastic Buffalo chicken sandwich! Once you've tried the entire selection, you get a personalized beer stein. If you go through the list again, you get your name on a "Hall of Fame" plaque.

My wife teaches at a Lutheran elementary school on the corner of Eichelberger and Jaimeson.

I've only got 112 more to go! For some reason, I can't get through the "c" beers. And the other patrons keep looking at me funny when I yell "MORE LIMES! I NEED MORE LIMES!!!!!!"

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I asked my wife, to "please only get me a card" I spend enough money on tackle throughout the year, so I'm kinda giving myself presents, year round. I got her some gold earings, and we'll a nice dinner, at our favorite Italian restaurant tonight.

Ask your wife if she knows Rocio and Bety Perez; their mother, Laurie, is a very, dear friend of mine! She struggles financially, but never so much that she doesn't do everything she can to make sure her duaghters get the best education possible.

In a few years, it's on to Luthern South! (Well, for Rocio at least; I understand that Bety is not much of a student....)

My wife got me the Bass Fisherman's Pickup from the Danbury Mint.

Scott:

Yes, she does know them! Sweet family, and my wife's school is glad to have them as a part of their school family.

She gave me a card, A Rose and a kiss. I gave her the DVD player she has been wanting and her favorite movie.

I think I got the better deal....:0)

Remember, John...... I've met Stacey....... SHE is the BEST deal!!

me!

Dito on what Mac said. I can't reveal that info here. But She got a new van and is getting a new house! Not bad I think. Soooooo.... I think for my b-day, I deserve a new truck. Whatta ya say folks! I'm still driving a rickety old '88 Dakota, Tom Mac, and Jim can attest to it! But a repeat of yesterday's gift on a regular basis would be nice too! LOL
