I found these in a bag in the basement. They were stashed away with all the manuals and paperwork the guy had given me when I bought the boat,,and I never looked at.

Just wondering if anybody recognized what they were.

The bag contains a foam rubber square, the skinny thing looks like some sort of weatherstripping seal.

Does the metal thing look like some kind of bracket for the cowling???

Oh My GAWD Steve, you better hook that boat up, put the extra parts in the front storage compartment and drive that thing down here. I'll have it fixed in a jiffy!!!

The part in the bag is a specific seal for a Mercruiser IO engine.

Is there any kind of identifying number on the bracket?

Mo,

there is a number stamped into the bracket, but when I entered it as a part # it said invalid #.

The part # for the baggie just comes back "seal".

I sure am curious as to what the heck it is.
