Small problem ... the reinforcement bar for the batteries compartement's door has given up. Didn't jump I just walked over it.

I supose this is covered by the guaranty but what can be done ? The door is riveted to the floor so I can't just send that part to the dealer. I'm definetely not sending the boat to Tracker.

I suspect this is a cheap repair, can it be welded back with the carpet on ? Can it be glued ?

Merci

if it is warrantied from tracker, let them send out a new door,a simple switch out of the doors, probally half hr or hr depending on any complications.welding is out of the question unless you want the carpet burnt off.bolting the reinforcement is an option, stainless bolts in 1/4" would hold it,one on each end,and 2 or 3 spaced inbetween.the only thing bad with that is the heads will be above the door.but if you get round head machine screws in phillips head they arent to noticeable, just a little hot on the foot in the summer.use nylock nuts with lock washers.break off the excess over the nuts.
