weigh in accuracy

Just a quick survey question

Our club uses the equalizer scales

which will weigh in one of two ways

LBS and Oz. ie 5lbs. 8 oz.

or

5.50 lbs i.e



on Oz. measurement all weights between 5.70 and 5.80 are considered 5 lbs 12 oz.

of course the hundreds measurement is more accurate, just thought I would ask what your opinion was

I dont think it really matters as long as each persons catch is weighed on the same scale.

If we have two anglers say at 5.71 lbs and 5.79lbs

If we use the lbs oz option on the scal both anglers have a scale weight of 5lbs 12oz.

what should we be using

seems the pros listing in BASS mag is lbs oz. not decimal
