Water leak problem with Storage locker

Does anyone have a problem with the drivers side foward deck locker, the one just in front of the windshild, leaking water when it rains. The well fills with water even though the hatch is closed. I looked for a drain port, but found none. Did Tracker even install one there? Can a drain port be installed. Any ideas or suggestions....

I had a similat problem with my storage box compartments in my PT175. Someone on the board suggested that I drill a hole in the bottom of the plastic insert and the water will drain into the bilge. I did this and have had no problem whatsoever since I did.

Yep...

Same problem with the TV-18...

I conveniently store my P-can in that spot now...

It catches 95% of the water since it all seems to come in from one spot along the corner nearest the windshield.

My boat is stored indoors, so I have not drilled any holes in anything...

What were they thinking when they designed that box? Who would have thunk..."Boat/Water....Why should there be a problem. Let's not have drains...it will stay dry!"
