WATER IN ROD BOX

I HAVE A 05 901 NITRO BOUGHT NEW.DRIVER SIDE ROD BOX STAY'S WET BEEN LIKE THIS SINCE NEW DEALER DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO AND NOW CARPET ON FRONT DECK IS COMING UP ANY ONE HAVING THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!

My 01 929 does the same thing,I just replaced my carpet so that fixed that,still get water in the box's when it rains! I've tried to reseal it but it stills gets wet?Don't know what the issue is!

my 2001 750 NX does the same thing in the left locker. I was thinking maybe the drain was clogged. I might drop by a gas station tomorrow and try to blow air through it using the tire hose.

Ditto Jay. Blow the drain(s) and make sure they are routed into the hull. Do you still have the rubber grommet on the inside of the lid? If not, that'll allow the carpet to weep through most every time. Good luck!

Just to add to Big Dan, you need to flip over your perko's to the locked position when it's raining, water will get in through the lock if unlocked.
