Have any of ya'll added a water filter to your gas lines to remove water from your fuel before it enters the motor? If so, what type of filter did you use? I want to add one to my Tracker PT175/50 Merc. Seems simple to add inline filter......thanks, Kenny
 
Kenny I put one in about 4 yr. ago & it seems to work fine. It is a Sierra brand & was very easy to install , can get replace cansters almost anywhere. I put it in because sometimes my boat will sit for 2 or 3 weeks when we are using my buddies boat & was worried about H2O in fuel. Hope this helps :wacko:

Oh BTW I am running a 50 HP Yamaha 4 stroke :D
 
Stock item on my 225:p Mine is a screw apart kind.....just dump and re-attach. Funny thing, in 5 years, I have never found any H2O in it.
