Russ, might I suggest Fosters trolling motor repair? They are a sponsor on BFHP (www.wmi.org). Your local minn kota dealer may be able to get a factory refurb as well. I have a hand control 52" 74 pound that I paid $450 for and it was in "new" condition. Not a scratch on it. Again, FACTORY reconditioned.
