Tuff Skinz is back in business. We came up with the first vented outboard motor cover in 1997 and tested it for many years before deciding that it was a great idea. We patented it in 2004 and haven't been in a position to offer them for sale to the general public since 2002. We used to take the order then manufacture the covers, but it was time consuming and several customers got upset that they couldn't get the quick enough. We are now in a position that we have 500 motor covers in stock and have recently signed an agreement with the largest marine retail outlet in the U.S., but it will not be revealed until Feb. 2008. We offer covers for 1999-2004 Mercury 150-250 HP carb and EFI, 2003-2008 Mercuru 200-300 Optimax and XS motors. Yamaha and Evinrude covers will be available for the 2008 season. Please log on and order today.

Looks like a nice product... Good luck... I am sure that you could get a sponsorship here at the site and keep your product in front of everyone here very reasonable...

Love the picture; shows great detail. From the folks I've talked to in this area, I'd say you have a lot of customer good will to re-capture.

Two questions...

Does the mesh fabic allow enough air flow for running wide open?

It looks like there isn't a cover available for the 150 Optimax....is that right? Will there be one soon?
