Sent my MotorGuide 65 Variable speed trolling motor back to Bass Pro Shops on 25 July 2003, 2 day air,received my new Motorguide Trolling Motor 65 lb Thrust, 24v, 5 speed on 1 August. I fished Saturday, Sunday , Monday and Tuesday on this trolling motor with no problems. Eight hours each day. My friend was up from Maryland for his annual vacation so we fish every day. Great time but the weather was messed up and made it a little more challenging to catch some fish. He went home happy, caught one just over five lbs. and he's now gained some experience flipping/skipping jigs under docks and trees. Arms are sore, legs are tired but it was great to take a week off from work.
