In an earlier message, I posted about how I accidentally dumped some used mower oil into my remote tank which caused some minor rough idling. (see help me gearheads)

Yesterday, I was telling my story at work (police dept)when one of our civilian employees overheard my saga. Well, to make a long story short, he's got a buddy (former OMC tech)who runs a mobile marine service on the side in addition to his full time job. I hooked up with the guy over the phone and told him my saga. I'll be taking my boat out to him on Monday of next week. He is gong to drain the tanks, purge the entire system, clean it, reload and pressurize and add oil to my gas (just in case the system fails) and then water test the rig. All this for "$80.00 bucks tops." And it'll be ready the next day if no problems arise.

I'm feelin better already....!!!

Great to find a good reliable, knowledgeable, reasonably priced mechanic...

I can't agree more Greg. The guy was a pleasure to talk to and seemed to really know his stuff. His wife works for another large P.D. in the area so I do believe I'm getting a "special price." I'll let u'all know how it goes, but I think everything is gonna be cool. Can't beat a one day turnaround during peak boating season.

LOL! He's the one getting a "special price"! You're paying him 80 buxs to take his buddies out in your boat for a day of fishin'!

:)

He will be sure to get his payback when he gets his next speeding ticket.
