Check post below, Nathan Long spoke with MadMan and explained the situation and what Tracker is/will do to rectify the situation, a breakdown in communication channels seems to be the culprit.

I just fired off a email of support to Nathan. He handled this situation just right - spoke directly to MadMan, gave him specifics, left the door open to correct any remaining problems, and reassured him that Tracker has his best interest at heart. I'll give him this much - he's bold in his approach. If Tracker Marine doesn't give him a big raise for all the grief he must take, and give him the power to fire people who stand in the way of building a positive corporate image, they're making a HUGE mistake. What they're paying him will more than be made up as they build a reputation of a large, caring boat company.

(Gotta get off my soap box now. My weight is causing it to crack.)

Wow! What a 180 turn around by Madman. People just want whats right and it sounds like Nathan is the man that can make it right. Hope the boat looks good when it comes back.

NOTE TO TRACKER: Don't give Nathan responsibility without giving him authority. He sounds like he is trying to help Tracker...so let him.

I too am impressed that this got "fixed". Now, I hope MadMan will join us here...Gonna invite him again.

Again, Mr. Long took time to communicate with me privately several times when I sent him an e-mail. He addressed my concerns from his perspective and responded. He shows a genuine interest in what "we" have to say. I hope our comments (which I hope were always viewed constructively) both negative and positive are helpful to him and the other folks at Tracker Marine. Chalk one up for the "Tracker Team".

A message would help...

I agree with Mo's opinion of Nathan Long. A while back there was a lengthy topic regarding Trackers Customer Service and Nathan sent me an email thinking I had an issue with my boat. I did not and still do not have a problem, but was very impressed with the initiative he took.

I just find it a little strange that the "Venom" turns to honey when the problem gets worked out. Makes me wonder what would happen if say, a steering cable went out next, is NITRO/Tracker the bad guy again. Personally, I would exercise a little more restraint and patience (forego the nationwide e-mail campain) and be persistent in getting the problem resolved. Is MadMan a Hot Head? Probably not, but you would not be able to tell from his posts.

Toxic - what a POST to join in on, this is a hot button! But a good one! I happen to agree (see my comments in the other post on this topic), i would leave the email compain to the last possible juncture after trying all else!

Grandma always said..."you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar"

Yeah...I get it. I guess I shoulda put vinegar on my arss before I bent over that log!!!

Thanks for the added visual, like the original wasn't enough. A mental pic of your hairy rear is the last thing I need rattlin around in my head! LOL

My Grandma used to say, "Life is like a box of Chocolates, you never know what you are goin to get". And I would always say "I sure do grandma, it's full of them #@!? ants"

No, the names not Forrest either so don't go there.
