Sorry guys I hate to keep doing this to you all but I think I have finally closed on on the boat I want. I just want to get your feelings. Originally I had decided on the Pro Team 185 but I could not get a large 4 - Stroke for it and I really want one this time around. The more I look at the TV-18 it looks like alot of boat for the $$$. I will probably go 90 or 115 4 stroke. For those that don't know I will be trading out of a Combo Pro 16.

Seems like most people are happy with the TV-18 ???

Tom,

You will NOT regret getting the TV-18, that I promise you. Everyone on this board that owns one loves it. There are guys on this board with 9 series Nitro's that like the TV-18. I can not recall ever hearing, seeing or reading a negative thing about this boat.

Andy Z., Bruce and I are all running 2 stroke 90's and MoFish has a 150 on his. Actually, Mo has EVERYTHING on his....LOL I don't have any experience with 4-stroke outboards, but if you can afford it, go for the 115hp. If something is good, then more has to be better!!

Welcome to the club and post pic's as soon as you get it.

Tom,

I just read your memeber profile. I'm right in Amherst, NH. If you want to, we can meet at Winni or some where(with Bruce Y., Curtis, Jon H. and anyone else in New England) and you can test drive my TV-18 and see if you like it. Send me an e-mail.

Tom, I rode in Markes TV-18 and was very impressed. My only thought was what would it do with over 100 ponies? With 3 guys and a full load, that 90 pushed us around Champlain at about 40 mph! Pretty good. Go with the 115 though, and the mileage will be awesome from a 4 stroke. Plus it's much quieter. All in all, I was amazed at the ride in Marke's "tin" boat. It rode great! Lots of room. In fact he has a good 1/2 again bigger front deck than my TF. Congrats on the boat, you'll love it. If you get the chance tow it up to NY for some famous Champlain smallies! Your boat, my treat! LOL And start making plans for next year's rally! Wherever it might be!

Hey guys, I see there's talk about another potential TV-18 buyer :)

Tom - I love my boat!! This is an upgrade from a PT 175 and I couldn't wait to trade up. Like most others here, I have the 90hp 2 stroke, if you can afford it go with the 125!!!

More than welcome to go for a ride any time, I'm sure either Ed or myself can meet you at Quinsig and take you for a blast. Also let me know when you're heading down to Marine USA, you want to talk with Mark Lewis, I can call him and let him know you're coming...

Tom,

See, I told you everyone loves it. Since your dealing with Marine USA there is also one in Milford, NH. You can call Jason Walker there. He has treated me very well so far. You may also be able to purchase it there using your Conway address and not have to pay sales tax.... From what I hear, either location has good Service and I wish there were more Tracker dealers like them.

Maybe, Marine USA should start giving me some commission or free parts or something.....LOL I had no idea I was so persuasive.

I have heard that both of the Marine USA in NH & MA have great service. I have used the one in MA for my Targa V17 and was happy with the service. A guy I work with bought his Tracker from Jason in NH and only has praise for the service and treatment he has recieved.

Since there are a few TV18 owners in the area maybe everyone could meet in MA on the Merrimack at the South Well Park ramp in Chelmsford for a TV18 demo day. :)
