Well here's the latest on my boat. Recieved a message yesterday from Kathy at BPS Auburn Hills. She states she heard from Tracker warranty repair center and they advised her that my boat would be done in 2 to 3 weeks. I asked her what done meant but she was'nt sure as Tracker warranty center e-mail did not get specific.

I assume this means they evaluated the damage and are repairing it, but again I'm not sure. Kathy says she is going to try to find out for me. So, I'm still kinda in the dark on this, I've e-mailed several people at the warranty center and was told I would be updated throughout the process but it sounds like they've made thier decision and are going ahead with the repair. So much for having a voice in the process. I certainly hope that whatever they do holds up this time, a third time around would really put me over the edge......

Scotty!!

I ran into the same situation---the owner has no say into what is transpiring between the warranty dept. and the dealer. I made all the phone calls---it was a one way street. There is enough data on this web site in reference to 2000 TV-18 with a 150 hp engine that says unless all of the modifications are put into the 2000 hull, you will repeat with the same problems that you had previoulsy--A 150 HP ON THE 2000 TV-18 WILL SELF DESTRUCT THE HULL. This means that it can't be repaired.

The least you should get, in my opinion is the evaluation report and the number of owners that have had the same problems and then negotiate as to what options you have and select the best one that is agreeable to the OWNER.

I should see my replacement in a few weeks. Whatever they are replacing it with, I won't know until I see it. The dealer thinks it will be a 2003. I hope so.

Good luck with your boat---keep us informed!!!

Nothing transpires between the warranty department and the dealer. The dealer has no input as to whether a boat is repaired, replaced, or what type of repairs are done.
