OK, I have us reserved for dinner at the Naked Turtle on Saturday June 8th from around 5:00 until........? Remember we do have to fish Sunday! Please cast you vote for the following. The prices were not as good as I would like but the Turtle has become the most popular summer pub in town.

1) choice is mix and match buffet potential choices include:

HOT: Chicken wings

Mini meatballs (marinara, swedish, or BBQ)

BBQ cocktail weenies

Chicken fingers w/honey mustard

stuffed mushrooms

COLD: veggies and dip

assorted cheese and fruit platters

pepperoni and cheese platters

devilled eggs

assorted finger sandwiches

Prices=

2 hot & 3 cold = $10 per plate

3 hot & 4 cold = $12 per

4 hot & 5 cold = 14 per

I think the 12 per looks best personally, to be affordable

For $2.50 we can add steamed mussels in garlic and white wine or for $3.50 bacon wrapped scallops (my favorite)

So there that choice next is

2)All American picnic for $12.99 per includes

Assorted cold cuts, deli breads, condiments, soup, and choice of 2 salads from macaroni, pasta, coleslaw, or tossed greens. Cmes with sliced watermelon

3) Backyard BBQ for $14.99 per includes:

Grilled chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers with rolls & condiments, choice of 2 salads again, (see above) and sliced watermelon.

They will have a full serve wet bar on our reserved deck. I have asked for a special on Coronas only because of the popularity on the board but haven't got an answer yet. There are other choices but they get pricy. There is also a full menu available. Please advise what you would like so they can prepare. The Turtle is a great setting on the water at an exclusive yacht club in downtown. Crowd is adult (not college) professionals and outdoorsman/women. Owner is a good friend and avid outdoorsman. Has a nautical theme and lots of parking. We will need to be out of there by 9:00pm to beat the night crowd at which point finding a seat is near impossible. In the event of poor weather I have arranged for the north deck to be covered and enclosed and heated as to not ruin our event. So fish, food, lies, and suds! What more could you ask for? If you need directions to the Turtle please e-mail me, and I will do my best from the direction you are coming.

Great Rob,

I'd go for the backyard BBQ myself, but everything else looks fine too !

Pierre

Rob,

After a full day on the water I could eat a house. I'm with Pierre on the BBQ. And I LOVE Scollops and Bacon. Bring it on!! The Rally is only once a year and I'm not worried about price, just as long as the food is good and there's plenty of it.

Marke

Marke, the way I read it, the addition of scallops is only for the mix and match. That doesn't mean we can't order them seperately. They also have a mean nacho order, HUGE!

OK, Pasta and coleslaw for salads? Let the votes keep coming first, but please add what selections within your vote.

Backyard Barbecue with cole slaw and salad sounds great. A huge order on the NACHO's especialy if they add lots of hot peppers.

I'd go for the BBQ too,...but i'm with Marke on the Bacon/Scallops thang!! GOTA HAVE'em!!..LOL

(Hey Marke,..we'll just sit together and order a platter ala carte with a bucket o'Carona's if need be!!)

I've got yer back BigDog!! LOL
