ANYONE KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE TUNDRA.I AM LOKING FOR A BOAT TO MOSTLY FISH FROM IN DET. RIVER AND SOME ERIE ALSO. I ALSO NEED TO BE ABLE TO TAKE MY WIFE AND TWO KIDS FOR A RIDE NOW AND THEN. I CAN SPEND AROUND 25G BUT NOT MUCH MORE. [ken 8-10 weeks seems like a long long time ] I'M LOOKING FOR ADVICE.

Tony...I may be able to get you a walk-thru sooner...my last order was placed on the 11th of March, and it's being built for the customer next week.

I have never been in a Tundra, but 2 of my State Team Walleye Pro's are fishing out of one this season, so if they are confident in it's abilities on the big waters, I certainly would be.

I believe there are one or two Tundra owners on this board...hopefully they'll give you some input.

I am not a Tundra Owner, but enjoy following posts as this entirely new Model has me intrigued.. Has Tracker received any defected Tundras Back? I really like this boat but personally would like to see it out a few more years before ever considering one. The Heavy Guage Aluminum seems to be a great Selling Point. I have been reading however the metal is actually thinner in the stretched areas.... how thin I do not know. So when comparing boats there is no apples to apples comparison.. Definately always gets a thumbs up in rough water, and the appearance is first class. Anyone else share my thoughts?

None have had to go back to the factory as far as I know...

The thickness of the aluminum is consistent throughout...I believe the tolerances are .005, so no part of the hull would be thinner than .120, with .125 being the standard.

I have a 2001 Tundra and live in the Detroit Mettro area. Mr. Neeley knows who I am as we have had many conversations about my boat. Tony I would be more than willing to take you and Mr. Neeley for ride since he also has never been on one of the boats he is selling.

My boat spends most of its time in the shop but I have had it for a few weeks this year. Just let me know when you want to go and I will try to arrange it.

Question for John R. Did your boat come with a stainless steel prop like it says in the adds or did you get an aluminum prop?
