Toxic posted pics of his truck after he detailed it. I have a black 2500 almost like his except mine is a 2000 model. It gets washed about once every 1 to 2 weeks. I try to wax it when i can. What is the best wax and cleaners (at a reasonable price...lol) to clean my truck up.

Thanks

BJ

BJ,

I would try a brand called Mothers. It comes in a red tin can and you can buy it at any local auto store. I have no clue how much it costs though.

If you want something good in a one step deal the mothers cleaner wax is a good one. it costs about 8 bucks for a can but you get many wax jobs from one can.

I personally like the 3 step deal like Tox does, i really like taking good care of my trucks mechanically as well as visualy. i use i cleaner like mothers pre wax cleaner, then 3m imperial hand glaze followed by 2 coats of mothers non cleaner wax. i do that monthly and wash my truck as often as i can.
