Trolling motor mount...help

Looking for a little help. The arm(metal) on my trolling motor mount actually broke/split while out on the lake last week. oh, the many uses for duct tape. I've got a '96 Nitro 700, with the motor guide 50lbs thrust trolling motor. Was thinking about trying to take it into an auto body shop to see if they might be able to spot weld it as more of a band aid. I would have to imagine that it's either that or buy a new mount.

How easy is it to replace the mount? I won't have to drill new holes would I?

Check EBay, get a new (used) GatorMount.

Look for a Gator Mount or get it welded. Any MG mount should use the same holes.

Let me know if you want another stock mount. I have the original MG mount from my 04' 640LX. $50.00 shipped to your door. I upgraded to a gator mount.
