Regarding your suggestions on staying with PT 185, I got full price offer last week, took me until NOW, to finally make up my mind on accepting offer. (PT was no longer for sale locally).

Anyway, I hear your suggestions & Opinions on the boats, and you know what, if the deal fails, then so be it, I would be just as happy with the PT 185.

Both rigs have pros & Cons. (especailly a paid off 2004 PT 185) LOL:D

Hey Chris - You gotta do what you know is right for you, we'll always love ya man, but we're NOT gonna let you off the hook on Tin till you go to the dark side!!! LOL

I tell ya, you get a full price offer, why did you WAIT!!! TAKE IT!!

I MAY be selling my 175 next year (or upgrading power) and I will keep Tin as my priority just because of where I fish (2 rivers and 2 lakes) but will look at all options and if the right deal comes along and it fits, you gotta do it!!

Trep, That's my other option, keep the PT 185 and spend about $10k on a used Glass Boat, got my eye on a 1990 Gambler 150hp.

I need the Bling-Bling

I was thinking the same thing Chris. From my point of view, i'm still deciding if I can continue to live with a Single Console past next summer. I take my youngest son most times or a new fishing partner (for fun, not T's) and both get cold/bugs/rain when we're out. I'd love a PT185 DC with a 115 ELPTO, that would ROCK!!! But they don't make it, and if I want a DC I need to go Tundra or Targa, and haven't gone that far yet if I want to stay in Tin. YES I can look at and will the other Tin boat brands.

Now if I get a good deal on a swap/trade/sale on my 40 to upgrade to a 75, I might just do that.

This is a Repo yard. There are GREAT deals there on occasion. Yes, you may have to put a few things with it, but don't necissarily run from something like this. Call them up, they will tell you the scoop.

Pat, I know I know, but your 900 miles one way from me. I'm geting $10k on my 04 PT 185, is that a good price?

Anyway, you guys move your boats to Fast! LOL, every time I look another one is gone.

There ya' go CJ...Pat's made ya' an offer ya' can't refuse

I can't speak for ya:unsure:

Mine will be paid off in October but, really have no desire to trade in or up on the SS Tracker:p It suits my need...not a speed demon, not tons of room, no sparkles.....

Just a Damgoodfishinboat !

Your PT I assume has the 90? If so it doesn't book quite for that, but you know what mine costs right up front, prices are all posted on the website.

Hey Trep answer me this, you say you want to run tin because of where you boat.........how many times have you whacked your current boat?
