Transducer placement

I have a ‘97 nitro 185 sf and am trying to figure out the best placement for the transducer for my helix 7 chirp mega si di g3n. Included is a picture of the two spots I believe it should go

Here is where I mounted mine on my 2002 188 FS. No issues. I do have a Y-cable to use the in-hull transducer when on plane.
