I just installed an Over 80" Trailer identification light bar(mounts in center rear position) manufactured with LED's.

Has anyone used the LED lights and what do you think of them? They seem to be brighter and I believe they are supposed to have a much longer life span.

Ranger uses them on all of their top of the line trailers this year.....MUCH better than the bulbs of old.....

They also spray color matched "rhino" coating on all the trailer cross members and frame rails this year....the stuff is darn near bullet proof. No more chips/scratches/rust,etc...ALL of the mfgr's should do that!

You can not go wrong with the LED lights. They are rated for a 100,000 hours, they are sealed and they do not generate the heat the regular lights do so they are slimmer. You could use them 12 hours a day for 27 years. They are brighter, submersible, and use less power. I replaced a good pair of wes-bar lights with the LEDs. They are alot more dependable. Marvin

i installed them on my tracker 2 years ago never had a problem, not one, now i am gearing up to install them on some of my friends trailers so they quit crying about blowing bulbs and bad connectors.
