Since obtaining my boat last week I've been able to put it in the water every day. Haven't caught anything but that's another issue. I have used 5 different ramps and all but one I've had a problem getting the boat square on the trailer. My research leads me to thinking I'm getting the trailer too deep. I also think that rollers or bunks in the rear would help as my "ugly as sin galvanized trailer" does not have either. Looking at trailers in the parking lot shows most have one or the other. Does one have an advantage over the other? Seems like bunks, cause of thier length, would give added leverage to keeping the boat square.

No matter how hard I try I still get the boat on cockamammy sometimes. It's fairly easy to rock it a little and it will settle into the bunks just right.

DEFINITELY an area where Tin wins.. (rocking the boat onto the bunks).

I found that if I leave most of the side bunks out of the water it helps loading and centering it up:)

You will learn the how best to position your trailer with time. There is a certain point at which you need to back your trailer in and you will be able to simple idle up to it and throttle up on to the it with ease. Don't sweat it.

Take some mental notes each time you load the boat as to where you backed the tailer up to and eventually you will find the right spot.

I got the add on PVC guides...I know I know not the common bass baot option...I shortened them to about 2 inches above the rail of the boat and I cannot miss. I often need to load the baot with a TM on an eletric only lake, I just stage the trailer extra deep and float it on. as I pull it out she drops right in...

My bunks are 10 feet long and when putting on new ones i mand them stick out the rear of the baot 6 inches for a better settled in feeling

Will go shallower next time. Thought that the rollers/side bunks might assist. The new Tracker trailers all have rollers.

The rollers may well help out, but before you spend the money and time, play with your set up and see if you can find that "sweet spot". If you it still gives you fits then try the rollers.
