was on the bps website checking out info for the classic at springfield and came across a drawing for a fishing trip with a bassmaster classic winner. wow! that would be a tuff choice to decide on who to fish with. also saw that mac was listed as a seminar speaker. and also that you could register to win a free 901. could you imagine winning the 901 AND fishin with one of the pro's below?

1 lucky angler will be paired with a former BASS Masters Classic

I'll only be doing seminars if they need me to fill in a void,...my main gig is the rod handle graphics...if it's anything like last year,..I won't be able to get away to even do a seminar...i was busy from open to close and usually had a few rods "backed-up!"..LOL I'll tell people to write their name and the bait or fish they'd like, on the rods tag,..leave it with me and then come back in an hour..it'll be ready! Worked great,..they didn't have to tote the rod all over the store with them while they shopped! It works out great!!

Mac

Hank, then Larry, then Davy. If Clunn or KVD were in that, they would take top 2, but which would be first????????

Dont' necessairly agree on Clunn or KVD taking the top two (but then that's my opinion of course). KVD maybe in the top two. Clunn doesn't come across as 'user friendly' to me. I'm thinking that when either he or KVD step on the deck of a boat (for the purposes of fishing), they just naturally go into another gear.

Clunn is a super nice guy! And for the $$$$$$ he makes, he is one of the most down to earth guys you'll meet. He has forgotten more about fishnig than most of us know. I could learn tons just watching him a day from the back of the boat. He wouldn't have to talk, just do whatever it is he does.

i'm kinda leanin to Hank Parker but i'll change my mind 2 or 3 times in the next couple of minutes.

I don't know a Hibdon, Yelas can't wear a Busch logo (pansy), though if memory serves, Davy Hite is a jig guy, so I might take him just to learn jigging. If he's not the master of the jig, then remove him.

Hank is good, down-home folk. I actually had a dream a week ago that I fished with him in the lake right behind his house. His wife and kids were very gracious and the kids even fished with us. Of course, I don't even know if he has a wife or kids, but they were cute :).

Well, since Woo's not in there, I'd have to say Hank, followed by Cook, since noone's picked him yet....

I'll take my 901 in "Tin" color, if you please.... yeah..... I can see it now, brand new 901, Aluminum color, with aluminum colored sparkles, yeah.....that's it!....yeah...I'm ONLY kiddin', y'all, I'd take ANY color!

No questions it would have to be Hank Parker, he's a real down to earth guy.

I agree with Rob about Rick Clunn. He is super friendly in person and, unless you know who he is, you wouldn't think he is a bass fishing legend!! I'd also like to fish with Hank just for the fun of it!

I would go with Hank Parker first then Jay yelas but i wish Kevin was on the list

Hank Parker is my favorite too, but if Heather Locklear shows up, Hank will be fishing off the dock.

Harpo

i would't think so Harpo. If she showed up, YOU would be at the dock and SHE would be in hanks boat! :)

You guys got it ALL wrong!! Forget Jay, Hank or Larry. Give me a 911 and MAC driving!!!

Don't worry Trep....I'll get you a t-shirt without all the suckin-up!!!...Take Hank if you win!!! LOL!!!!

Sucking up, no WAY!! I just want a free DRIVE!!!! In the 901 OR the Ranger!

Back in town, done traveling for a LONG time on business I hope! At a Tues evening cocktail party/reception I was standing next to my customer and my boss walks up and says "Hey, you two have been travelling quite a bit lately, huh?" To which my customer says "Yup! Trepper and I have seem more of each other in the last 3 weeks then we have of our WIVES!!!" LOL. Boss says "Way more information then we needed to know!!!

Got the new trany in the wagon (after a bit of a fight with Ford, got out the door installed with a 3 year/36k warranty for $2,800. Showed up on Friday afternoon and the bill was $3,900 - I said, quietly mind you - Please get the service manager, when I talked to the service rider yesterday he told me $2,680 plus tax, $1,100 is WAY too much for the government!!!".

Just gotta get thru this week and were off to OK on Friday afternoon and Beka/I off to Branson Mon - Wed next week w/out the kids!!! GOTTA stop at BPS Springfield on the way!!

Trep,

Welcome home!! Too bad about the tranny. I've been through 3 tranny breakdowns. One was on a hunting trip with the guys out west, a million miles from home. I'm sure glad that I'm married to "Mrs. Never Let Me Forget It Forever"!!! Eight years is a long time to nag me!!! HA HA!

Have fun without the kids!! Good luck with the house deal.
