Took my wife fishing sat 4/14

I took my wife tama out yesterday for some spring smallmouth fishing.The water temp was 41 when we started at 9am and it was 43 when we stopped at 2pm.We each had 3 smallmouth a piece.Tama caught a beast at 18 1/2 inches long and it weighed over 4 lbs.All fish was very healthy.My biggest was 16 1/2 long.She has been bragging ever since on how she caught the biggest fish.Tubes and jerkbaits was the ticket.I would have thought the smallies would have been biting better with the storm coming.We was fishing the susquehanna below sunbury.It was a good day to be on the water.I forgot the camera so i didnt get to take pictures of the fish.oh well there is always another time.
