Dear Tracker:

Mr. Wateski came to this board a few days ago filled with anger. His new boat had been returned to him, after warranty work at the factory, without having a major defect sufficiently repaired. He was told that the damage could only have occurred by hitting something; he and his dealer disagreed. He showed his anger on the board in such a way that even I thought that he may well have been the cause of the damage.

After we let him know that his type of posting was not acceptable, he could have turned and never come back. Instead, he chose to apologize for his actions.

In my opinion, Mr. Wateski has shown himself to be a man of integrity.

Please take the time to review his case again.

Thank you!

I agree, frustration usually manifests itself in a nasty way, Bob has shown he is seeking a fair and reasonable solution to his problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I for one know that we will all... about a thousand of us loyal Tracker/Nitro owners... be monitoring this issue and we will be working with Bob to find a resolution to his problem. I know that as soon as Smitty gets his boat back he'll let us all know... And, I know that Nick DeMarzio will be posting his "final" thoughts.. We then owe it to our fellow members to voice our concerns (in Bob's case) and satisfaction (in other's) as these issues are resolved.

The one thing that I do know about Bob's case is that the dealer does not agree that there is "impact" damage. So, I would think that that alone would be reason enough for Tracker's Customer Service Department to review the matter and open a dialog with Bob, regardless of where they think the matter sits at this time.

In a paraphrase... "The eye's of NTOWS are upon you..."

I agree with the above and hope that this issue can be satisfactorly resolved. It appears from the information presented that Bob and the dealer have a legitimate issue regarding this boat.

I also hope things work out between Bob W. and Tracker Marine, seems from what we've heard on this board at least, his dealer is in agreement with him on this, not being an expert on the subject I've just sat back and read all the posts, but I do want Tracker Marine to know ALOT of us are here, reading, maybe not always joining in on the threads, but we are interested in how things like this issue turn out. Not knowing all the details it's hard for me to "blast" Tracker, as I've had absolutely no problems with MY boat, motor, etc....but if I ever do, I sure would hope these warranties and expensive extended warranties are more than "lip service".....and that Tracker would be doing their best to get and keep loyal customers... sorry this was so long winded all....... egMike

To Bob (not Wateski) -

Don't worry, you didn't do anything to open a can of worms!

Every now and then, being the "un-official but only Nitro/Tracker site on the web", we have people come in to air gripes. Some of the gripes are legitimate and some are not. Some people get the advice they seek and need while some don't. Some stick around regardless of the outcome, some are never heard from again after their first post.

Regardless, we welcome everyone!

(Even if they fly a Gator!)

If you like the features of the Gator best, then you made the right decission! Please, stick around and join in with the rest of our "Family"!

Just, please..... Should you happen to be flying through the shallow riffles of the Meramec a mile or so downstream from Meramec Springs..... And you should happen to see a short, scrawney, old, bald man in waders..... Or shorts in the summer..... Fishin' for trout..... DON'T RUN THE SOB OVER! IT MIGHT BE ME!!

me!

but if that same old man is getting his picture takin' holding up a freakin' 3" trout,..run him over like a stripe in the road!! ahahahahaha

Ya know MAC Scott's gonna get a complex... Goody...

hopefully he'll get a 5lb bass BEFORE he get's a complex!!

Besides,..he loves all the attention!! HA!!
