Although I do not speak for any other Canadian but myself, I would like to take a moment to let you know my personal embarassment at the decision of our government not to rally beside you in your campaign against a worldwide threat. I would also like to thank you for your ability to keep my country safe and allow me to sleep better at night knowing that I have a big brother in the south who would be there if I needed him. God Bless all your men and women who are risking their lives to protect our freedom, and may they all return home safe....

I agree with the sentiment. Even though we've had discussion on this board about the "give peace a chance" attitude, it's time get down to business. The optimistic in me was hoping that the UN would grow some teeth and actually take control, I guess we see what that organization is all about...yet again.



Our prime minister is on the way out, thus I can only assume that this decision is a political thrust to appease the majority of the people and go out without conflict.



As a Canadian I fully support your endeavours, Good luck, be safe!
