I'd say your boat has docked. Congradulations again on a super cartoon effort. My father in law, also a cartoonist, has decided to lay down the pen after 40 years because of the low market for hand drawn toons and ofcourse his age. You have suceeded despite the huge odds which few people can appreciate. To put things into perspective for those of you who don't know this business. I've seen my fishing cartoon market slip from over twenty magazines to three in the past ten years. Other markets have slipped badly also as magazines have consoldated publishers and opt for conputer clip art or choose to eliminate cartoons all together to save money. It's difficult for an established cartoonist just to hang on. Mac you've done that and accomplished the rare feat of expanding your drawing horizons. This wasn't by luck but by talent and hard work.

Wow Fatrap,...that's a compliment I'll take to heart bigtime! Thank you!!! Keep plugging away though,...I know the feeling,..I was in BassTimes for 10years and they let me go in June because I signed this licensing agreement!!

It didn't even make me flinch....I wasn't about to turn down the opportunity of a lifetime and 15 years of hard work and a little "luck" ,..JUST to stay in B/T. Sometimes you have to fall a few times while you're learning to run!

Again,..thanks a bunch for that awesome compliment...i sincerely appreciate it!! AP is going to do their best to take this to the forefront and make it a household name....so my work is really only beginning..but it'll be a great ride...and if they can't do it...it was never meant to be!!..But judging by the way things are progressing...it'll happen forsure!! I am a VERY lucky guy and I'm not affraid in the least to admit that!! Keep working Fatrap..it'll get better!!

Mac - the site is great. Very nice, professional, and well thought out. I'm not too sure about having your picture everywhere though! Read my BassTimes last night. I wasn't sure what all went on, but I now realize that I've been missing your toons there. Ride the horse as far as it can be ridden, then get another horse that will go from there. Looks like you got a good mount under you now.



I see the wallpaper is available for downloading. Nice. We are doing a 'fish game' thing here at work, so I'll point one of the leaders here to your site. Will there be some additional wallpaper available in the future?
