Thank goodness there aren't a lot of Birthday's in January or I'd really be behind..

But there's one I missed and that was on January 18th. As this person was integral to this site, at least I think she was, and also gave me my nickname and whom I thought of as a friend, I want to go ahead and wish her a belated memorial Birthday. Other's may not agree but I felt it was the right thing to do.

Staci, it's been three years since you left us all and I for one miss you a lot and wish you were still here. Hopefully we can finally meet one day in the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In Memory of Staci Matheis, who died much too young in 2006..

Uncle Billy

Happy birthday to ME, happy birthday to ME. (in my not so good singing voice).

I too miss her presence in my life. Staci and I went way back in NTOWS years. We hunted and fished together a few times when I went back to visit my family. One of the great memories I have was the time we fished Mark Twain Lake together in her boat. The shift cable broke. So, we introduced everyone here to the newest technology, voice command shifting. Staci said "forward" and the baot would shift into forward. Same with reverse and neutral. Of course, I would sit on the back deck and "shift" at evry voice command.:lol::lol:

Her little purple sqeaky toy was her Avatar. One of them, sent to me by her friend and her mother, sits on top of my workstation monitor here in my shop. If you outlive me Billy I'm willing it to you!

I truly miss her many phone calls... But, as with all good friends, good memories keep the person from really being gone.

Missed here too, was always so nice to me, especially when I was new to the site.... Odd that you put this up, as tonight I somehow wandered over to the memorial section here, then came across this. Truly one of the nicest people I've encountered on here.......

Staci sent me the rock opera Tommy on CD years ago as a joke.

We'd also joke around about...is that you? NO it's ME!

Some had isuues with the gender part but, I've always been live and let live as long as you keep your ball in your court:blink:

Sadly missed:(

not inappropriate at all in my mind, UB.. A great, thoughtful post.

Tee, "Welcome to the Camp"

I fished twice with Staci, once she came by my place and picked me up on the way to Rich's cabin on Lake Hartwell, where we fished and hung out for the weekend, and she was my Crappie partner on KY Lake for the last big NTOWS tourney, and she got the big Crappie! A great person, who will always be missed!

I agree Billy,,I talked to Staci a few times, We never got the change to meet...We were on this site about the same time I believe I orignally was on first before I stopped and started again..Only Rich knows the exact date I joined 98 99 somewhere around there,Staci and I joked about it....Staci Is missed....JR

Staci and I had our differences, girl fight! Ha! But, I would never wish bad on anyone. She arranged the KY rally where I met many of you and I will always be grateful for that experience. I am sure she is in a better place.

I never met Staci one on one. We exchanged many, mant e-mails though. She was a good one. I still miss hearing from her.

Happy Birthday Staci.

RIP,

Steve
