There is a new setting in the preferences screen. You can set your local time zone so that message times appear in local time.

Andy, the time shown is the current time in the specified zone. So, if you post a message at 8pm EDT, it shows up as 8pm ET. Same would be true if we were on standard time. A message posted at 8pm EST will show up as 8pm ET. The amount of code required to make the distinction between standard and daylight savings time is not worth the effort.

Those of you in Indiana and Arizona (time zone jumpers...outta be outlawed), will have to adjust the setting twice a year to reflect your state's allegiance to the time zone in effect.

Just ban Hoosiers from the site!

Arizona - No Problem! They hunt rattlesnaks, not fish!

It's like a Slim Jim, but made from snake, not beef. See 'em a lot on the counters at Seven-Elevens in the southwest.

I thouht they were made from dead rednecks named Jim??

From the DietPower web site regarding Slim Jims:

"DietPower has declared us the World's Worst Food. A one-ounce stick contains half an ounce of fat and nearly 500 milligrams of sodium. (That's almost a quarter-teaspoon of salt.) We're laced with nitrates. And we're made of parts of the cow that you don't even want to know about. Anything is more healthful than a Slim Jim

How about liverwurst? Piled thick on white bread with lots of ketchup! And a tall glass of milk!!

How can anybody put ketchup on liverwurst my gosh did nobody ever tell ya about Miracle Whip? and what the heck is wrong with Hoosiers I are one. Bruce

Bruce, there are rare exceptions..... Very rare exceptions..... Simpler just to ban all..... Ever consider moving? Trepper did!
