It has been since the Mid-80's since the Detroit Tigers have had a birth in the World Series and here they are in 2006, once again a World Series Team.

I am proud to live in Michigan. Now the only other thing I want to see happen before I die is the Lions win a Super Bowl....HAHAHAHA...Im not gunna hold my breath for that one.

Good thing Travis....

Awesome stuff, we just need to finish this off.

400+ losses in the past 4 years.....and now the WS!

I cant wait for them to win...BABY does it feel good to be a Michigander....even though our fishing season for most people is 5-6 months out of the year....LOL

I hafta feel sorry for the Police Departments in and around Detroit. When the Tigers win the world series, Detroit will burn. If, somehow they dont win, Detroit will burn. They cant get a break ! do de

I don't think there will be much of that goin on this time......there's always a few idiots in the crowd, but we never had any major violence or trouble when the Wings one their cups or when the Pistons won. Did you see the clip on TV where Kenny Rogers poured champagne all over that State Cop's head when they won the wild card spot?....that was GREAT!! Even the cop was fired up!! He laughed it off!! (I "heard" that he asked the cop first and the cop said,.."Sure...go ahead!") Too cool!!

Detroit's ready for a good party....and the Tiger's will deliver!!

Aint no party like a Detroit party, because a Detroit party dont stop!~

I don't follow baseball unless we're doing really well. I was amazed that there was only one guy left from the 2003 season on the current team. That explains the turn around. Go Tigers!

My My My.....here we go with the Detroit will burn stuff....

C'mon, that was 22 years ago...we've won several NBA and NHL championships since then....nothing burned. Times have changed...get over one incident in 84 and let us enjoy our well deserved time in the spotlight.

No matter how far it goes from here,,,it sure was nice to see them whip the Yankers.:D

Good luck in the series.:) I'll be rooting for ya'.
