I see they are definitely wrong on the Blood Knot....never go over 4 to 5 turns then back thru. You'll actually be cuttin' your own line goin' 8 to 10 turns(never heard that)..

I usually make about 8 turns then pick out the middle (leaves 4-5 on each side). Possibly where they got the 8-10 from. I'm with TEE, 8-10 on each side is gonna leave a bit of a long bulge as well.
