The Big Day is Here!!

Been waiting 9 months for this day. No, my wife is not having a baby.......IT'S THE SEASON OPENER!!!!!!! YEAHHHH!!!

There have been some pretty good games on already such as: Toledo/UNLV, I thought Toledo had that one. N. Illinois gave Maryland a sound spanking in OT. But today my beloved Sooners take on conferance champions North Texas State and the real game to watch will be Nebraska/Okla State. The Cowboys think because they won 7 games (including OU)last year and snuck into a minor bowl they are national championship material now. I am looking for the Huskers to do their job and send those Aggies home with their usual "Can't winum all" mentality restored. I'm sick of listening to them. So, Toxic, I guess you and I will be sitting on the same side of the stadium today.

Yessir!! A good game. Leave it to the Balckshirts to "Stoke the fires and kick the tires" for the first game. As I predicted, close with NU coming back to take it in the final quarter. Conditioning.....I still gotta feeling it's gonna be a long season but for at least a week the big "N" hat is on my head and the 6 foot banner flies off of my fence "Husker Pride Nationwide".

Congrats on the win Tox. Normally I would always root for the state schools but since OSU's wins over OU their fans have become unbearable.

You might be intrested in knowing that a couple of the local sports radio guys are picking Nebraska to win the north. I'll wait and see.

They hafta get a lot better than what they were today. OSU turned the ball over 5 times. You can't to that in the Big 12 and expect to win.
