Just wanted to drop you-all a big thanks on the imput on getting a new boat. The wife and I went over and ordered a new Targa 18sc with the 115 4strk. Dennis over at Sportmans was great to work with. (KC MO area)

After reading all your MSG-- It really help make up my mind.

I went with the Eagle 320 fish finder (bow mounted) -- 24v MotorGuide TM--Guest on board charger and a few other goodies including an ext.warrenty (3+4).

Now the wife won't let me pick it up till I get the 615 sq. ft. deck is built. Heck I better get started--

first, congrats on the boat! sounds great!

now, if it was me, I'd be outside right now, with portable floodlights, workin on that deck!



In our case, after about 2 months of "shopping", and checking out websites including this one, I got the green light to go ahead and buy it( our boat), but not before she got her new leather furniture for the family room, and I painted the family room and replaced the wood floors in the 2 girl's rooms...... come to think of it, by the time it was all said and done, this boat was EXPENSIVE! LOL

Congrats on the boat!! It sounds like you got it rigged nice. If the weatherman is right, spring fever will hit KC this weekend! Last night on my way home from work, saw my first turkey of the spring in full strut. Crappie can't be too far behind. Enjoy!!

Hey Glen--When We were out by "Unity Village" on our way to Sportman"s-- Saw 50-60 deer and well over 100 turkeys--

I wish there was bow hunting there--

Scott -- I would love to go to the rally --- I have never gone to any type of fishing compititon / get-together--Can't ever remember the last time I went fishing from a boat -- most of my fishing has been "pond fishing". I'm going to need to learn how to run the boat and all the extras. Also the wife wants a Deck.. Maybe I can get together with you guys later on this year.
