Thanks to all who have responded so far. It has been helpful. I currently own a 800 LXS and love it. Never have had any problems with the boat other than the quality of the fiberglass alittle "wavy", However the new boats have impoved on this. Thanks again. P.S. Kenny what is diffrent in draft between the 901 and 898??

Kurt,

Don't know the actual difference in inches, but w/896's if the trolling motor could turn, the boat would go and the 898 seems to be the same so far as I can tell. Haven't been on any stumps yet, should get in some on Fork this weekend so I'll let you know about the stumps. I know the 896's would just slide off and over them using just the trolling motor and it wasn't no upgraded high-powerd TM. I never had to crank the big engine nor move around in the boat to get off a stump in my 896's had to do it several times with my 901. i feel the 898 will be the same way. KENNY
