Thank Goodness it's Friday! What's the plans for the weekend

Well, for us in the DFW area, looks like a weekend indoors mostly - since the wet and timely Spring Rains/Storms are upon us. Should start raining pretty good in the next hour or two. 'Timely' generally means one of the two Spring PGA Events is in town, and the one in Fort Worth is here now.



I started cleaning up some of my rods/tackle and such a few weeks ago, so guess that I will work on that this weekend.



Additionally, I think a BIG pot of my homemade Spaghetti Sauce is in order. Haven't made it in awhile, so I think I'll brew up a few gallons. Probably have my wife turn part of it into a very nice lasagna with some garlic bread and Vino for Saturday night.



Everyone have a great weekend - and let's not have any more 'fright night stories' about anglers and their boats trying to kill them!

Because of the rising water, most of the fishing areas are either closed or really messed up. I have some friends from Missouri coming in for the weekend, so I'll treat them to some good old Cajun food and fun. They say the water may stay until late June.

Friends are visiting from Ohio, yesterday was touring lakes/dams and State Parks, today Lookout/West Mountain, Gangster Museum and the rest of the tourist things.

Well, for me I'm gonna get real familiar with my truck again. I'll leave Florida somewhere around 0300 tomorrow morning with a full jug of coffee and about a dozen 5-Hour Energy's!!:lol::lol: 11 hours later I will roll into the homestead in Virginia (depending on how many po-po are on the roads. "re-acquaint" myself with the wife and get ready for the MVM. Carlos will roll in on Wednesday and we will hook his boat up to my truck then we will be up bright and early (another 0300 departure) Thursday and we will be off for Michigan. I can't feaking wait!! My vaca starts TODAY and I won't be back in the office until June 6th!! JD is one of the major food groups right? :lol::lol: Trim the mainsails Mr. Christian....We are heading for the smallmouth grounds!!

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse tonight with a pretty blonde (and she is buying ), fish Saturday with a different pretty blonde and fish Sunday with a hot brunette....



Then work mon, tues, wednesday and fish thur, fri, sat, sun, mon, tues.



Speaking of Jack Daniels....I will be bringing a half gallon of Jack black and a fifth of Single Barrel. The liquor store isnt too far so we can re-load as needed

I suppose I gotta get the house/garage ready for my daughter's graduation. Honey Do lise is taking priority...no fun for me. I might find some time to get the boat uncovered and preped for the next weekend so we can do the spring shake down cruise. Oh well, raining this weekend anyway.
