Tex in Hospital - Doing Well...

OK just got off the phone with Tex. He passed out on Sun afternoon and turned blue, luckily his wife was there. He's in the Hospital in a private room, was in ICU for 2 days. Turns out he has blood clots in his lungs. He sounded in good spirits and said the Dr. told him he should be able to go home on Fri and should be back to work in a few weeks.



He sent his wife home for copies of bassmasters so he'd have something to read! He wanted her to bring a rod/reel and jigs so he could practice flipping and pitching!!



He wanted all his friends to know he's doing fine and won't be on the web till this weekend at the earliest.



If anyone wants to call him to say Hey, just email me and i'll pass the number along.

I talked to Tex this morning, he's in good spirits, catching up on the last 6 months of Bassmasters mags, and is waiting on some test results. He hopes to be back home by the weekend but they need to ensure they have everything undercontrol.



Like a good project manager he wants to know - Whats in and out of scope for him when he gets home, and what are the risks if he exceeds his scope of approved duties!!

Yeah I spoke to him also. He sounded great and was in great spirits. I am heading down to Charlotte in a couple of months and I told him to get better so we could hit Wiley again. He thought he would back to his normal routine in a few weeks, but need to get that cleared by his Doctor.
