Tee i have a sharkhide question

I have a buddy who just got a new 18' lund and im thinking he should hit it with sharkhide before it hits the water. does the sharkhide stand up to salt water? Also can you apply it over painted aluminum? He plans to use thing boat mainly in salt water( crazy in my opinion since he got a painted non galv trailer)ad i think if he dosent do something its going to ruin it in short order.

It won't apply on painted surfaces. As far as it standing up in saltwater...you'd have to ask the people at Sharkhide.com. I'm not sure

And yes, that trailer won't last long at all unless he flushes each time somehow. I would think with painted aluminum...the surface may be fine but, saltwater will play havoc on all his instruments under the dash and he'll have to worry about corrosion inside the boat especially the bilge area.

And yes I agree.....he's nuts to do that to a NEW LUND
