Tee - $625 for 60 months bumper to bumper

When I bought my Tracker here in Atlanta a little over 2 years ago they started the 60 month (including the first 1 year from tracker, so technicaly it's a 48 month warranty) that covers everything, the Premier Pro Plus with the $25 deductible, at around $800. After discussion and negotiation I paid $625 for it. I don't know if they are like car warranties where you can shop a number of dealers to get the best price (I know you can do this with Ford products with in the first year of new car ownership).

I bought the same extended warranty. It covers the major items for the boat, motor and trailer. I have not made any warranty claims since I have bought my boat, but it gives me a peace of mind since condidering the cost of a new motor.

Bob - That was my thought when I bought this boat, my first new one. I figured just in case the motor broke, let alone any major electronic (trolling motor, gauges, cables) stuff.

Tee - Is that from your Tracker dealer? Mercury Dealer? Have you tried shopping other dealers in the area? I know some areas you don't get much of a choice and there is only 1 place to go close to home. If that is the case then the Dealer probably knows that negotiates less.
