Tackle Storage Lockers

Think I am flooding the board with a bunch of questions??



I would like to add additional storage on my PT165.



Looking at some sold by BassPro.



Has anyone done this on a PT165?? Any lessons learned or other advice for doing this.

Bill, I don't know how they work in there, but I was wondering if you couldn't find something cheaper? I know that on the PT175 the have some tackle storage space but those are just open containers that fit boxes. I think that would be a cheaper solution than this. I would be interested if anyone else has some ideas...also if this works in the PT165...

You can buy just the lids and make your own boxes. The problem I see is you dont know how deep the box can be until you cut the hole in the front deck? (CAUTION) do not remove the foam it is not only flotation but also part of the structure.. That comes from somebody who has been there done that and had the hull welded where it spit.

DO NOT mount those as a deck lid. The lid on those WILL NOT support weight. They are intended to be mounted in a console vertically.
