Got rid of my bass boat for a Tundra hoping to spend more time on the big lakes here in Michigan. The Tundra seemed like a good boat for rough water and it has proven sea worthy in some pretty rough stuff. Heres the problem, for the last three days the pain in my back has keep me from sitting down. Can't go boating like that. I found a article tilted "Impact Zone" in the October issue of Bass & Walleye Boats magazine. I have had back surgery once and have to find some type of supension seating to absorb all the G's when running on rough water. Has anyone else had to install something like this for similar reasons? The Glyde Ryde system looks good and so does Attwoods Centric SAS seats. None of these seats are cheap and I do not want to buy something that wont work.
