Structure Scan

Hi guys, i have a 640lx and am about to install the lowrance structure scan system. I woudll prefer not to drill holes in my boat to moun the new ducer. Has anyone created a bracket that mount onto the side of the engine mount? I see guys with jacking plates mount them there.



Does anyone think ill have and issue ?

Why not just mount it on the TM? Does the system work at high speed?
