Well, I fished a club tournament on Saturday. While I didn't place, I did receive a fishing "injury". At the weigh in, my third finger on my left hand started hurting. I didn't pay much attention to it. While driving home, it seemed to hurt if I bumped it or put my fingers together. When I finally looked at it, I noticed that there were blisters on most of the side of my finger. I guess I must have been casting harder or something to get these. Oh well, at least I didn't get a crank bait stuck to my chest or anything...

I usualy dont get blisters, but I do get that rasin water logged finger thing...

LOL!

Brian, I get blisters all the time from working a jerkbait all day. I usually get callouses, but my wife complains so I cut them off with toe nail clippers. Then get blisters all over again. It's a viscous cycle! LOL Wait until you get tennis elbow or back problems. Then you know you're fishing hard! Go get 'em next time in the tourney!

I used to get "thread" lines on my hand from the reel seats on one of my rods. I was not a cheap reod either---- Solved the problem by wrapping the front reel seat with tennis racquet wrap. Now I understand there is an actual product "rod wrap" or something like that.
